Wave runner venture 700 1996

Hi

I have a Yamaha wave runner venture 700 year 1996, It is overheating the muffler and its burning the pipe outlet and the hose exhaust, what could be the problem?

It has 100 hrs of use.

Remove and clean cooling hose from jet pump to engine. May have to remove exhaust manifold and muffler and clean all water passages.
