16.2 volts is too high. Does anyone know if you can buy an aftermarket regulator or where I can buy one at a decent price? -

What is the model of your outboard? Are you using an accurate voltmeter or relying on your gauge in the console? 16.2 volts at what rpm?
I would stick with Yamaha parts - the sponsor of this forum, boats.net, has good service and prices.
