1990 200hp

I've seen 1990 (ETXD) 200 motors with both the older cover (3 latches on the outside) and the newer style with the cable release.

Was it a mid year change or were both still available in 1990?

The 1990 models and up used the cable system, the 1989 and olders models used the three latches.

Except for commercial or imported motors, right?

I saw that in the Bahamas they still sell the old carb 200 new and it doesn't even have oil injection!
