Yamaha CV 25hp tiller conversion

Hi folks,

So I am new here and hopefully someone can help me out! I have just bought a Yamaha CV 25hp 2001, with remotes. I am an idiot and needed tiller control. What is involved in changing over to a tiller arm, and is it cheapish? I can get a tiller arm from an evinrude, would that be suitable?
