2004 Vmax 150

[Custom Flat]

Had to power out of a low mud flat for about 50 yards with the motor all the way up on the jack plate and tilted. Alarm went off but after a few min it went off. When I got back into deep water, put the motor down, engine idled fine but would not power up when I pushed the throttle. Had to idle in to the marina for about a mile.

Motor never stopped peeing and idles fine, just wont power up. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

If didn't turn ignition off when buzzer went off then may still have been in rpm reduction, have to turn key off and back on to reset warning system.

Also, if not the RPM thing you could have turned the hub in your prop. Of course that will make the motor over rev when you try to take off.
