  • Acid to clean water jacket

I have an engine sx250, 2001...that over heats only when run on the flushing ears..( has new pump and stats). Some one told me to remove the bolt on top of each cylinder head and pour muriatic acid into the water jackets. ??? Anyone ever done this ??

The Yami's tend to overheat on ear muffs. Need a drum to put the lower unit in. NFW on the muratic acid, use vinegar. There's a thread written about this.
