Yamaha 70 HP 2 Stroke 70BETO Performance

This is my first boat, first post. I have bought a 16 ft fibreglass half cab with this motor, 2006 model 95 hours with 13 x 17 prop. It has poor performance and some amateur (previous owner) setting up and tuning. It is now at the Yamaha dealers workshop for fixing, but we can't find the fault codes for this engine in the manual. can you help please?
