2001 SX250 -OX66 -Salt Water Series.....When motors are tilted, full up, 2 I see 2 cycle oil leaking from the cowlings onto the transom (euro transom)..I have tightened both the caps and the drip leg on the motor oil tanks (wire ties).. Can't seem to see a leak... Has anyone run into this before.. These are new to me motors.

Alot of people have this problem.It's coming from the oil reserve cannister mounted on the engine.The cap on the cannister leaks,its a bad design issue.Some have tried zip tying I've put a piece of absorb mat and zip tied that.it was ok for a while but still leaks. There is a nub on the cannister that prevents you from getting a tight seal.You have to replace the cannister to solve it. It's expensive! Nobody I knew has solved the problem,
