97' 115 two stroke

I am looking at buying a 96 skeeter with a 1997 115 TLRV, I have been looking for reliability issues online and found very little on this engine. It seems there is a S115TLRV a C115TLRV and a model with no coding, just a 115TLRV, what is the difference in these codes? Has anyone owned or worked on this engine? In spring he removed the oil injector runs it by mixing a 50:1 ratio. Is there long term effects running it this way?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

That is one the best engines Yamaha made, the "S" series is a saltwater model, the "C" series was a non-oil injected model.
