I made a trip a couple of weeks ago and for the 15 minute ride out to where we fish, my 150 ProV ran great. But about 5 hours later on the ride back it began surging. After getting home I added some Seafoam and ran the motor for about 15 minutes. Then I made another trip yesterday and the same thing happened - ran great on the way out, but began surging on the way in.
The plugs are less than a year old. I have a serviceable fuel filter which I removed today and found a small amount of very small black specs - don't know if that would explain the problems. Any help or guidance is appreciated.
