octane

Sir...I just purchased a new 115 HP four stroke outboard.I was advised by the dealer to use only regular gas,which has 10% ethynol.I have access to premium gas,90 octane that contains no ethynol.My question...would it be better to use the gas with no ethynol at 90 octane or the ethynol regular at 87 octane...Thank you...Charles Pyles

In our area the 90 octane non-ethanol is the best choice of gas and the engines run good on it.
