Yamaha thermo unit

I have yamaha 225hp saltwater 1994. I want to install a yamaha water temp analog gauge.i need to know what temp sender i need to buy?and a other question thermo unit and water temp sender is the same thing?thanks

The temp sender for the temp gauge is part number 688-83591-00-00 and it is different than temp sensors on engine.

I am going to install the analog gauge 6Y7-83540-70-00 on my 1994 two strobe saltwater.Do I need any adapter for the instalation?
