Hi All,

Im new to this forum and would really like some help. Im abou to buy a Second hand boat and it has a long shaft 2006 Yamaha 50 manual /Pull start... I am told you can buy an electric start kit for it.

My question is does anyone know where the best website is to source the parts from and who will ship internationally (Australia) ?

My second question is has any one heard of an electric starter motor kit and if so where would I find the part numbers or part number for it ? The engine Serial number is YAM 50 HMHD 6H5k.L.1008421K

My Third questions is, are these a good reliable engine and isn there anything I should look out for?

We don't have any parts listing on that motor and not sure if any of the USA model motors match it or not. Yamaha doesn't offer any electric start kits for any of the US 50hp models , would have to buy all the parts separately if can find an electric model that has same engineto use for parts list.
