4 stroke oil filter wrench?

Is there a special oil filter wrench to use on 4 stroke motors? I have an F250 and no wrench other than a socket type will reach under there where the filter is. I can get the filter off, but when it comes to tightening it to the factory torque value it slips and I can never get it tight enough. I use a metal socket type that fits over the filter head. What should I use or what is the secret to this seemingly simple operation? Thanks.......

The cup type wrench is what we use, but we just hand tighten the filter back on.
