Digital Gauge trouble

I have a 2000 model 130hp saltwater series. the screens in both digital gauges don't work. does anybody know if your can do away with the gauges and install a gps with engine monitoring system to display all info that is on the digital gauges?

That motor is not NMEA 2000 compatable and wont send engine data to GPS.
You can use analog gauges that are cheaper than the LCD gauges.
