Are you talking about the gearcase, the part the prop is attached? If so pull the prop and look for fishing line in the seal. If there is none the you will have to pressure test the case and find the leak. The best solution is to reseal the gearcase.

Now if it is the crankcase engine oil then you may need to replace the oil pump. There is a revised oil pump assembly to address the lower seal issue.
