I have a 2007 Yamaha 50 Hp boat motor that is very hard to srart when it has not been started for two weeks or longer. After it starts it is very easy to start. during the winter it takes 5-minutes to get it started. Any one have any ideas on what is causing my problem.

The fact that it starts easily once having run a bit, indicates either a low battery or a delay in getting fuel. Difficult starting when hot or battery fully charged, may indicate armature winding failure of which the 50 HP motor is prone to. When the starter is stripped, you can see that the windings are "chaffed" and some of the wires are worn down by the casing. Repair to this requires replacing the starter.
