I have a 1986 ProV 150 Yamaha. It keeps overflowing the tank even when I disconnect the wires as well. Can you help me out with what the problem may be. I'm thinking it could be the control switch which is the highest priced part but don't have a clue. I also want to get a repair manuel for this motor.

If you are talking about the oil tank on engine overflowing then could be the oil control module or the oil level sensor in engine oil tank, if still has original oil control module then probably needs to be replaced.
