60 Hp Yamaha presently broke down during a wild lake trout egg collection in the middle of lake Superior. Boat and crew are now back on shore @ Michipicoten island. Flew in a new fuel pump as the motor was filling the crank with gas. @ first we figured that it was from the long ride to the island being towed behind a tug. So oil was changed and the boat still remains in safe mode only reaching 2000 rpms in forward gear but can reach approx 6000 in reverse and neutral. Changed fuel pump and still acting the same. More info plugs 1 and 4 burnning really rich(come off same coil) 2and 3 burn nice tan (same coil) dont know if it is electric or not. Anyway boat seems to be in safe mode (2000)rpm and keeps filling the crank with gas. Any ideas??
