Hi, new to this forum, so please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong place.
I have just aquired a rather dated Yamaha engine, I am try to find a service manual and a supplier of parts. I also need to know if outboard engines can be rebuilt like car engines or are they very much scrap when they fail.

You will need to get the model number to look up parts here and can go to www.yamaha-motor.com to get manuals.
They can be rebuilt, there is oversize pistons available if needs to be rebore cylinders.
