Repowering 1995 268 Grady from single Yam 250 to twin 200 hpdi's

Hello All - I am new to this forum but so far it looks great, thanks!

I am tackling the repower on my own (with my son) and have a whole boat load of questions.

I ordered a Yamaha rigging guide CD and hope that will answer a lot of the electrical connection questions. I hope it also covers the fuel management digital gauge hook-up (If anyone has specific info on wiring this gauge I would greatly appreciate a copy)

As for the hydraulic steering, is it a simple as removing the cylinder (works) from my 250hp 2-stroke and bolting it to the 2006 200hp HPDI motor?

The cylinders in most steering systems are only rated for 300-350 hp and would be better in install a cylinder on each motor and would need a duel engine tie bar to tie motors togather.
