  • 200etxh slow crank

Thx. for the model year info. I have a "slow crank" issue Pls. where can I find:
    1. minimum battery CCA or MCA requirement for this engine.
    2. "Bar-over" or ft. lbs. of torque spec. to turn engine by hand? (spark plugs in or out?)
    thx.

when trying to turn over, feel cable ends to see if warm..... IF you have 12+V ill bet your cables are wicked

'using 550cca fully charged marine deep cycle, holding 9.6V + with load. Eliminated cables and switches by using 2 made up new 6 guage X 2 ft. long cables right at the stern with the engine...............still slow crank! Starter just overhauled and bench tested by the best in the area. Engine bars over (with spark plugs in) at approx. 60 - 65 ft. lb. No the prop is not turning when I do this. Is 6 guage cable enough? Looks same as OEM
      thx.

Should be 4 gauge or larger cables.
