AFTER RUNNING FOR 45 MIN. ALARM SOUNDS NO OTHER INDICATION. LET ENGINE SIT FOR 20 MIN. THEN START UP, RUN FOR 7 MIN. THEN ALARM SOUNDS AGAIN, STILL NO OTHER INDICATION. CHECKED OIL FLOW AND THAT IS OK. THIS HAPPENS EVERY DAY. NO ONE IS ABLE TO FIND WHAT THE CAUSE. YES EVEN THE YAMAHA DEALER IS AT A LOSS. ANY HELP OUT THERE?

Is the outboard having any other symptoms along with the alarm - like going into an rpm reduction mode due to maybe a thermo switch closing?
