What is the difference if any, in a trigger coil and a pulser coil? The manual that i have has six wires from the trigger coil but on my 96 200 yamaha i can only find four wires matching the colors in the manual. Need help!!!!

It what the Manufacture calls it, Yamaha calls it a Pulsor coil, Mercury calls it a Trigger coil. -
Trigger coil
From everything that i read there are six wires that comes from the trigger coil to the cdi unit, but on my 96 200 yama i can only find four, can someone tell me if i am looking in the wrong place? New at this and could use all the help that i can get. Motor is missing on #1,3&5 cylinders and i am trying to troubleshoot the trigger coil before i go to cdi. Thanks
