Driveshaft endfloat

Hi,
I just built up Yamaha 200 lowercase with new bearings and seals.I used same shims same places.
Now i wonder should driveshaft have up and down play, because it`s feel little bit stiff then turn it?
Waterpump and impeller isn`t not yet installed.

If you replaced bearings it needs have the shimming check. Take it to your dealer and let them check the backlash and possible reshim
