703 side mount to flush mount?

I am looking at purchasing a Yamaha 25hp outboard with 703 controls. The current owner has the controls side mounted near or on the rail of his pontoon. My pontoon has a console and I would like to put the controls on the right side there. Can these controls be reversed or converted?

Yes the handle on 703 control can be moved to other side so control box can be mounted on either side.
