I have one of my engines it doesn't fill the upper oil tank but some times it does it's erratic I replaced the pump the sensor the filter blew oil line out. I can tell when its going to happen the guage starts blinking right away even if the upper tanks full the Mech thinks its the cdi box or control box any thought's

Check the wiring harness to remote oil tank, may have corrosion in connectorss. If middle bar on gauge is flashing then check sensor in remote oil tank.
