Yamaha 115 hp OB not charging

My one 115 hp yamaha ob motor is not charging the batteries anymore. I noticed it when using only 1 motor to ***** for salmon and the downriggers drew the batteries down. Voltage dropped to 12 v while *****ing and revving the motor made no difference. As soon as I started the other motor, the voltage picked up to 14.2 v. I checked the 4 fuses in the fuse box on the motor and they all seem ok. Is there any other fuse on the alternator or has my alternator diode gone out and is there an easy way to check that? BTW it is 2004 4 stroke model

try to swap the 2 charging regulators, i have seen some turning bad, also inspect the prongs in the connector, they become realy hot and burn too.
