2004 T9.9 mid to high range runs rough

My 2004 T9.9 idles like a dream, *****s great. But, when you need to pick up a bit of speed it runs like crap. I've installed new carb, changed filters (both) new fuel line from tank to filter (it was bad) and it still runs like crap at mid and high range. Your thoughts are appreciated!

Check compression, check ignition system to see if misfiring.
