I have replaced the water pump with new kit and did not make note which way rotation and position pump tabs were facing the problem is I am not getting water through to the heads I have checked flow with hose and lower unit removed and water flows through heads. can anyone help me

Turn the drive shaft clockwise while installing water pump housing over impeller.
