Remote switch at motor for Trim and tilt.

Can someone tell me where I can go to purchase a switch and how to install at motor for my 1998 C150 motor trim and tilt? It is a hassle to climb into boat just to activate the swtitch at the control box.

You would have to install a toggle switch(waterproof) on bottom engine cowling or in boat and splice into the smaller green(trim down), blue(trim up) and red(battery voltage) wires at trim relays.

I also, have a similar year model, without the on motor switch.

You may have the original owners and service manuals. A great amount of information.
I ordered a the generic manual , however very limited.

I bought a water tight "transom switch" from West Marine that cost about $25. As written above, red = 12v, blue= up, green= down. It's not a "replacement" to the OEM switch that's on the motor but can be installed at the transom where it can easily be reached either from outside or inside the boat.
