tiller handle

i have a 2000 40 h.p yamahaw/ tiller handle.i am going to put a pt-130 tilt& trim cmc jack plate on this weekend. i am wondering if moving my motor back 6 in. will affect mt reach on my tiller handle. just wondering if yamaha makes a tiller handle extention? also has anyone had any experience w/ this paticular jackplate. thanks tom

Yamaha doesn't offer an extension not sure if any aftermarket ones are available.
