I just completed rebuilding my 17 ft lowe and installed a 2006 40 4 stroke with 41 hours on it. New 703 control and digital tach. The motor had been fogged and stored and completly serviced before I purchased it. I put in new yamaha oil engine and bottom foot and the engine started with in a few cranks and runs nice. I put new plugs in after it ran in the tank and cleared out the oil from fogging. My question is the oil is full and the trim top mark and oil level is flashing on the new digital tach at the same time. Motor runs fine but have not had it on water yet. I have no oil warning buzzer sounds on the control so any ideas of why the two bars are flashing on the tach? Fishman

Make sure tach is set for 4 stroke engine, 2 wire trim sender and 12 pole alternator,
