This is where I am currently at
yamaha f150 square guages two buss boards
All connection have been taken apart and cleaned
both bus boards have been replaced
I still lose readings when I install the resistor on the second bus board in the center console, take teh resistor out and everything works great.
I do not lose power to the guages they still light up but on the speedometer it will not display speed, econ, or ttl fuel I just get a "- -" symbolw instead of speed.
On teh tach I jsut get a single " - " instead of rpm and the temp, volts and oil pressure graph bars show up but no indicator mark.
this is driving me nuts both local yamaha dealers have said without that resistor I shouldn't have anything work but booth guages work fine until teh resistor is installed.
Do I have a short in a wire or is one of my guages bad and throwing everything out of whack?
