Engine Up Grade

I have a pair of 225 2 strokes on a G/W 272, if I went to 4 strokes, given the weight difference, and hull design do you stay with 225's? At the present the engines are running fine, but thinking towards down the road. Please advise pro's and con's, and your suggestion.

Same horse power if you want same performance, the four stroke engines requires a 28 1/2 inch minimum center to center of motors when mounting on transom of boat, most 2 strokes are mounted at 26 inch centers so make sure you have enough room to mount motors further apart.
