Ignition switch to wiring harness?

I'm a rookie when it comes to boats! Long story short, my yamaha ignition swith has a 9 pin square connector, but my wiring harness has a round adapter. What am I missing here?

What model motor do you have and what part number ignition switch are you using?

I have 90hp, year 2000.

I'm out of town at the moment, so I cant confirm the ignition switch number.

Which ignition switch should I be using?

If you have a dash mounted switch then use 704-82570-08-00 switch assy.
