Yamaha 1992 PRO 50 tilt trim problem

My trim motor works fine with the switch on the motor but will not work with the switch on the shift. Help!!

check the nonworking switch and if that is good the check the wiring

Either have bad switch or wiring going to switch, check for power at switch.

Thanks Guy's..it was a loose wire that fed power to the switch
