command link help please

Saturday my guages started acting up and I need some help figuring it out.
(square guages)
speedometer would work for a minute then just give me a - - display and then every few minutes it would start working right and then go back to displaying - -
alts, temp and oil would display but with no indicator mark on the bar.

Tachometer would only show - or it would get stuck on 7

Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated, I figure it is a bad connection but I can't seem to be able to locate it.

Check connections at hubs, on engine and the power wire connections at key switch.

I checked all connections and cleaned them and put back together but condition didn't change, if the speedometer and tach both come on but don't get a reading is there something specific I should check? If I use a test light should I get va reading at the bus connections?



F150 with two bus boards and no additional sensors have been added.

Sounds like it's not getting any data signal from engine, not easy to test as it is a digital signal. May have bad hub, wire harness or end resistor cap.

thanks a million for the help, guess i will just replace one part at a time until I figure it out!
