idle's too high

I'm a new guy so hello first,
I have a 2002 ox66 200 that is idleing at 10,000-11,000 out of the water will this grind when trying to into gear or do i have more problems , and is there a screw to lower the idle or what does it take ? Thanks for any input

unhook cable end from linkage at motor and see where it idles, if this helps get it to 700 then adjust cable end
did this start recently ? or is motor new to you

yes it is new to me, ran great the first time the 2nd time the sensor's went off and i could only idle back, found out it was not getting oil from the tank on my boat to the reserve tank after that is when the idle problem happened
