Just picked up a used Robalo 245 (love it!) with twin 150 4 strokes on the back. When I purchased it I was told they are couter roating and they are. I put the boat in for a "look over" with the marine shop I use and the mech called me bank...interesting thing, he states I have 2 port (non counter roating) motors with a counter rotating lower unit. This boat is only a 2005 with 2005 yamahas motors....my assumption, this is not a set up Robalo did...they probably changed this after the fact.....could this be a problem down the line? maybe they hit something and replaced the lower unit...and orginally it wasnt a counter roating set up? any thoughts on why it was done this way....and would it cause any problems down the road...thanks so much for the help!!
