98 30 horse leaking 2 stroke oil out exhaust

I have a 98 30 hp yamaha that had been stored for the winter and it is leaking 2 stroke oil out of the bottom of the lower unit. the oil seems to be running down through the engine and out where the exhaust comes out through the prop. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Remove the oil pump and see if the seal in backside of oil pump is bad.
