cant identify my outboard type

ive just bought a 11 foot classic speed boat (ply-wood construction)it came with 2 in no. outboards one of which is supposedly a 25 hp yamaha unfortunately there are no model numbers visible on the engine or cowling,however on the lower cowling there is a yamaha logo followed by the number 68021 this is, i assume, a yam casting no.
anyone help me solve my problem.

There's no VIN plate on the side of the mounting bracket? Is it a two, or a three cylinder motor?

no vin plate and it's a 2 cyl. motor
