On the way home from the dealership (far away) the steering handle snapped because the machine was laid incorrectly in the bed of my truck. The handle snapped at the thread position where it attaches to the motor.
I've ordered parts 6G8-42113-01-EK (HANDLE, STEERING 3) and 90185-20M03-00 (NUT, SELF-LOCKING).
Could you tell me if this is a installation one can attempt oneself (I'm reasonably skilled with tools) and if it best to disconnect the cables on the throttle handle side or on the motor side?
Better still, are any instructions available for this fix?
Thanks!
