prop pitch

I have 2005 YAMAHA F200 XTR with a Solas Lexor prop with a 15 pitch. It runs at WOT at about 5800-6000 rpm.s, but I usually run about 3500 -4100 rpms at cruising.

I also have a Solas Lexor prop with a 21 pitch which runs about 3200-3600 at WOT, if I remember right........or it was 4200.

My question is.....Is the 21 pitch prop bringing the RPM's to low for cruising? I just have the WOT numbers for the 21 pitch. I'm thinking that 19 pitch will bring it to normal operating range.

The rpm range is 5000-6000 rpm's at WOT on that engine and you don't want to prop below that range.
