1989 yamaha pro v 150

Hello guys, im in need of some help, I have a 89 yamaha 150 pro v ,last year i replaced the water impeller and housing, last weekend i noticed it wasnt spraying any water out of the hole, also after i replaced it last year it woul over heat at idle,now my question is would the tstat cause it not to pee outta the hole as well as the water pump? any help would be great, chris

As long as not getting an alarm probably tell-tale hose or fitting plugged up, try cleaning out hole.
