  • Right switch position for my f40cetl

Hi there. Here is Corrado from Italy. I bought a used Yamaha f40cetl made in the 2005 (italian version of a 40 hp four stroke, four cylinder with carburator). It comes with a digital tachometer but it doesn't work too well. I have unplagged it from the boat and i saw that, on the back, removing a cap there are three switches that are set in this way.. On off On. It is normal or i have to change something?

    the trim level was fine
the oil lamp never goes on

thank you ad sorry for my english.

The low oil pressure light wont come on unless oil pressure drops too low.
    Here are tach settings

Not sure what trim sender is used on European motors but set for 12 pole alternator and four stroke engine.

Thank you a lot. It seem working.

I haven't the user manual with me.. there are some special push key combination to activate or measuring some level or it is just a fixed instrument?

I was even wandering about the water warning lamp.. it comes on just in the case of warning as the oil lamp ?

      Thank you again Corrado.
