92 200hp on a mooring in cold salt water with no marinas nearby has its fin zinc deteriorating fast. Would this be a bad ground? How do you trace problem? Thanks

You may have some stray leakage currents on your boat. Probably need to do some research on it. I think have read some way of testing but can not remember where or what it said.
Maybe look for wiring laying in water in bilge, automatic bilge pump would be a thought. Any noble metal contacting the water could cause it also, dissimilar metals form a battery type effect and cause current flow.the anode is designed to go first and keep the motor from corroding.
