new gauges

Got a new f115 (2008) last year. It has been a good boat motor, installed a water temp. gauge last year. Thanks to the help on this site. This year I am installing multi-function speed 6y5-83570-s5 and tach 6y5-8350t-81, I have whole kit 6yr-w0035-fo. I have a question about tach sw1 & sw2 and do I need a cable from the engine to the wire harness cable 68f-82553-80. If not where do I plug the cable 68f-82553-80 on the engine. My 703 is a 1994 model.

Set sw1 up, sw2 down, sw3 up.
That is the older gauges and will require 6Y5-85335-00-00 installed between tach and 68F-82553 harness to work on a newer motor.

I have the 6y5-83553-MO and 68f-82553-80. I think I got the guage contections but where does the guage wire harness connect to the engine. what color are the wires on the plug on the engine.
