  • Gauge Installation for v225trlx

I just purchased a used 1999 Legend 232 Enticer with a 1999 Yamaha VMax225TRLX. The dash has a speedometer, tach, water pressure, fuel, and volt gauge, all are individual gauges. What I would like to install is a water temperture gauge, a trim gauge, fuel management gauge, oil level gauge for the separate detached oil tank, and any other gauge that would be neccessary. I have considered the option of having the digital gauges, after reading the postings that I have seen, I did not see anything about how to go about installing these gauges. I am new to owning such a wonderful experience, it is now one of my Harley's on the water! Thank you everyone for your patience and guidence to this new past-time. In time I will ask better questions. John

P.S. Would you be able to include necessary part numbers of anything that might be needed? After reading past posts, I have seemed to be under the impression that nearly all gauge makers will interchange. I would just like to have dash filled with new gauges, or at least with the ones that would be needed. I really like having a console full of gauges....now just how to make it happen!!! I am a green horn! I know that I have been vague as to what brand, the Yamaha is prefered, but Faria I have seen is popular with a lot of the posts that I have read about.
