  • "WASH PLUG" on 6MSHR

New to Yamaha outboards. I see a screwplug on bottom lower unit just under cav fin labeled "WASH" . Do I have a salt model? 6MSHR code 6H6 S . This plug is 1-2" above the water inlet. What is the procedure? It's not peeing well anyway and making order for impeller etc.... I see a " Flush Kit For 4 6 8 20 40" part #ABB-MOTOR-FL-SH It looks like a garden hose adapter for this "Wash" hole and also a set of muffs for $11. Will this fit my motor? Just hook upgarden hose and let her rip?
